Foldable displays have long been talked about as a convenient way to make larger displays more portable and easier to slip into your pocket. And in 2008 they very nearly even made it to market with PolymerVision’s Readius.

Around five years ago (Give or take a few) there were rumours circling around the mobile phone industry that mobile phone projectors where going to be the next big thing to be incorporated into mobile phones. Â Seriously! And Motorola was the manufacturer supposedly developing the technology.
