Thank you for your interest in advertising on The Pre pay as you go blog. There are three types of advertising available – banner advertising, sponsored article and social media promotion. The available options are outlined below.

Advertising on The Pre pay as you go blog is advised for anyone wishing to promote mobile technology related products or services such as mobile phones, tablets, accessories, applications and more. Our site has a large and growing community of mobile technology enthusiasts, which has grown since early 2009, and currently sees around 200,000 unique page views per month with the average user staying on site for over 7 minutes. (Correct as of May 10th 2012)

Sponsored articles

A Sponsored Article option is offered for those businesses who wish to submit an article that promotes and links to their website, product or offer. For this service there is a charge of £45 per article. Articles are required to be unique and be between 350 and 600 words in length. The price above is for an article provided by the sponsor, but we can provide bespoke articles containing sponsored links and for this the charge is £75. When requesting a bespoke article please provide relevant resources and any images required.

What is a Sponsored Article?

■ For the purposes of this blog, a sponsored article is a mobile technology related article, illustrated by relevant photographs that is provided by the sponsor and is published on our blog
■ The Sponsored article may contain a reasonable number of relevant links (normally up to 2) to the sponsor’s website.
■ A Sponsored article is disclosed as such by using the description ‘Sponsored Article’ or other similar disclosure at the foot of the article
■ Sponsored Articles are only accepted from businesses with mobile technology products or services.

What Benefits does a Sponsored Article give you?

■ For a one-off payment, the sponsored article with links you provide will stay on our blog as long as it exists and has the potential to attract traffic over a long time.
■ A sponsored article can offer more relevant and in depth information to those interested in your products or services than a banner ad could do.
■ A sponsored article is written in the same style as a normal article and although declared as a sponsored article, may offer more value and attract more interest in your product or service than a typical advertisement.
■ A Sponsored article is promoted via social media up to 4 times per month for the first month after publication via Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and Stumbleupon.

How commercial can the Sponsored article be?

Sponsored articles should look similar to any other guest post with content that may be related to the mobile technology you wish to promote but is not overtly commercial. For example;
■ A mobile phone article should contain mostly information about the handset with offer and price reserved for the author bio.

Accepted sponsored articles will meet the following criteria

■ Content must be unique, not published elsewhere, or republished in the future
■ Personal in tone, and demonstrating knowledge of the product or service
■ Plenty of useful detail and information about the product or service
■ The article may incorporate a few lines at the end of the article introducing the sponsor’s services e.g. this sponsored article is from your company, who specialise in, here you can also include any pricing information.

£45 per sponsored article you have written.
£75 per bespoke sponsored article written for you.

Social Media Advertising

Social media promotion is the perfect service for businesses that have a mobile technology related product or service and require more than a banner or sponsored article.
Currently we promote via Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and StumbleUpon, and have three available packages.


Package 1: Cost £35 for 7 days advertising for which you will receive the following,
■ 14 tweets = 2 per day (We can write the content or you can provide it) 1 link per tweet included. (Tweets will appear on our blog and Facebook)
■ 4 Facebook comments with an image and link to your website
■ 4 Pinterest pins of your own content with an image and a link to your website
■ 3 StumbleUpon submissions of your content please provide tags and a comment to place.

Package 2: Cost £70 for 14 days advertising for which you will receive the following,
■ 28 tweets = 2 per day (We can write the content or you can provide it) 1 link per tweet included. (Tweets will appear on our blog and Facebook)
■ 8 Facebook comments with an image and link to your website
■ 8 Pinterest pins of your own content with an image and a link to your website
■ 6 StumbleUpon submissions of your content please provide tags and a comment to place.

Package 3: Cost £100 for 21 days advertising for which you will receive the following,
■ 42 tweets = 2 per day (We can write the content or you can provide it) 1 link per tweet included. (Tweets will appear on our blog and Facebook)
■ 12 Facebook comments with an image and link to your website
■ 12 Pinterest pins of your own content with an image and a link to your website
■ 9 StumbleUpon submissions of your content please provide tags and a comment to place.
