So You Think You Dont Need A Smartphone

Having a mobile phone or smartphone is the best way to keep your life and contacts organised. Since our smartphones have doubled up as alarm clocks, telephones, personal organisers and contact directories for us today, we’d never know how we would survive without one of these amazing pieces of kit to get us through the day.

6 Useful Smartphone Features

Below I’ve listed six of the most commonly used features, try and think you don’t need one after reading this!

Camera Phone

Smartphones have many multimedia facilities, many of which are more than helpful. Since most come with cameras, users tend to look for a camera with the higher megapixel count, usually this would mean that the camera produces higher quality images.

Most smartphones these days come with a camera

You seldom find a mobile phone these days that does not feature video shooting facilities, making camera phones a must have for students and the younger generation who mainly use a smartphone for leisure activities.

Personal Organiser

The really great reminders and organisation features some people just can’t live without. Before smartphones, we would struggle to remember birthdays, times, anniversaries, and schedules. Smartphones are what you need to stay organised and on time at work and play.

Smartphone Calendar and Contacts

They are ideal for keeping your contact list handy and up to date. Mobile phones let us keep contacts updated with proper back-ups provided in case your phone breaks down. When you have mobile numbers, addresses, web IDs and designations tucked away in your smartphone, you will never have to worry about misplacing contacts again.

When a contact changes their number and calls you, the new number will register on the phone. You have the option to save this new number on the handset; therefore you will have only the most up to date contact information for your friends, family and clients.

Text Messaging

Messages and texting are now part of everyday life. Smartphones let us text people, message them about important instances in your life, and voice chat on the go too. Most smartphones have awesome email integration services so you can read emails and get notifications even while you aren’t connected to the web.

Surfing the Web

They are great for Internet surfing on the go. Smartphones are a great way to stay connected to the Internet.

Surfing the Web on a Smartphone

Whether it is last minute research, or you want to spend time checking out details of something important, a proper Wi-Fi or 4G LTE service on your smart phone let you do that with ease.

GPS

The GPS navigation guides are also really handy. Navigation is possible if you have a smart phone to guide you throughout. There are traffic updates, weather condition signalling, and many other instances that you are warned about with GPS navigation guides available on your smartphones.

Social Media

There is also Social Media sharing. Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace are social network sites that everyone is crazy about. With the facilities on your smartphones, now social media sharing is also possible while away from your computer.

FaceBook on a Smartphone

You can share photos, update statuses and be in contact with everyone you know on social media through your mobile phone services.

With these conveniences and several more, there are many ways that smartphones have influenced our lives.

Make sure you think over which requirements you need and it will be easier to choose the best smartphones for your purposes. Your life will be easier with a smart phone than without it!
