iPhone 5 To Be Drastically Different From iPhone 4S

It still might not be something that has already been proven to be true but if it ever was, the upcoming iPhone 5 would probably look different from its predecessors. Such news came from a leak that is believed to stem from the SW-Box website.

Highly-Anticipated iPhone 5

This was what Cult of Mac speculates. The leak came in the form of an image that shows an earpiece component along with a headphone jack that is believed to be part of the highly-anticipated iPhone 5.

Cult of Mac said that although the supposed components of the new iPhone shown in the image will tell much about the phone, it could point out one thing: that this device will be different from any Apple mobile phone that consumers today are using. They said that if its internals would have such a significant change, it is highly unlikely that this new device will still hold the design that the iPhone has been highly known for.

According to Cult of Mac, this is the second component leak of the iPhone 5. And with its release drawing to nearer, consumers should expect more leaks to surface over the next few weeks and months.

These leaks – real or fake – are also fueled by the fact that more and more mobile phone consumers are becoming crazy over the new iPhone 5, and becoming very curious of the look and features that it will hold. The leaks also add to the publicity of the new product, gaining more excited buyers with every one that is released.

iPhone 5 Due For Release in the Autumn

However, do not get your hopes up too high just now as the iPhone 5 is believed to have a fall (Autumn) release this year. There are bloggers, though, who are hoping for a summer release this year, along with the slated release of the Samsung Galaxy S III, believed to be its only competition.

The reality is that Apple still has too many things going on right now. They have quite a number of product updates line ups slated to be tackled and introduced. These include rumors of a supposed MacBook Pro overhaul, as well as updates to the MacBook Air, iMac, and the iPod. Besides, the company still is enjoying the high sales of the iPhone 4S, released just late last year, and they probably would not want to break such streak just yet.

Apple Rumours

Apple currently also has to deal with the rumors of them releasing an iPad Mini. There are so many market analysts that are speculating of Apple’s attempts to further cash in on this lucrative market. They think that releasing a smaller and cheaper model might help it acquire more costumers.

But if ever the sales of the iPad were to slow down, Apple might be compelled to release the supposed iPad Mini in order to somehow save their losing market to the other tablet manufacturers. Today, though, Apple seems to enjoy the hefty profit that the iPad continues to pour in, making it highly unlikely that the production of a smaller device is underway.
