LG the leading Korean handset manufacturer has decided to launch the third in its long overdue PRADA handset range in 2012.This will come five years after the launch of the original PRADA mobile phone.
The re energising of the collaboration allows LG and PRADA continue a partnership which started back in 2006 and resulted in two top of the range PRADA mobiles being launched in 2007 and 2008.
The new handset, which will simply be labelled the PRADA phone by LG 3.0 will look to build on the success of the first two phones, the 1.0 and 2.0. First of which became quite popular with over one million of them being sold worldwide. Both previous mobile phones were unique and ground breaking in their own way with the 1.0 being the world’s first touch-screen smartphone , and the 2.0 version coming with a watch interface.
An LG Electronics spokes person described the relationship between the two businesses as “unique”.
The working partnership with PRADA has been a successful one, something no other handset manufacturer and fashion brand have been able to replicate. Having successfully launched two PRADA phones by LG, we look forward to collaborating further to develop premium handsets representing the most sophisticated style and advanced technology.
A PRADA spokes person said: The working relationship between Prada and LG has always been an innovative one which does not compromise on quality and style.
At this moment in time the only detail we can give you about the new PRADA mobile phone by LG is that it will be black in colour most certainly be touch screen. But thats about all we can say! Wether it will run on Android, windows phone 7 or something of LG’s own making we have no idea.
The least we can hope for is a top of the range high-specification smartphone manufactured to an excellent finish.
