This week’s featured handset is the Samsung J700 slider phone.
As one of the longest serving and more popular low-mid priced handsets on pre-pay-as-you-go, we feel it is time to give it a mention on the blog and get some opinions from owners or people that have used it.
Available in black, pink, purple and silver the J700 was released in February 2008 with mixed reviews, and as with most handsets it served some time being offered to monthly contract users before finally becoming available on pay as you go.
Personally I think that for a 1.3 megapixel camera phone it is still priced a little too high at around £40 depending on the network, especially if you compare its features to the recent Sagem my721x. Which has a 3.2 megapixel camera and superior features for under £30 on T-Mobile.
